Three days in October 2011 |
Journey through the Münsterland, Germany |
|   |
| Some impressions of a brillant long weekend with around 25 - 28 C here and bright sunshine. |
| Monday was a public holiday in Germany so great for visiting castles and other nice buildings |
| with friends and of course - Commander George. One of the nicest weekends this year. |
| Some of these buildings are in private hands, so I don't write the name on the www, just the date. |
|   |
| A famous Barouque castle, build around 1703-1734 |
|
| This manor goes back to the year 900, oldest building still in use is from 1500. |
| With own chapel and always in one family. |
|
| Another beautiful mansion from around 1650 |
|
| No drive through but nice, too. One of the earliest Barouque castles nearby |
|
| ... so we take a ride on the field ... |
|
| Finally - the golden October |
